Method of Payment
- Pay by credit card (Visa or MasterCard) over the phone, 202-334-1201 or 1-888-KOSHLAND.
- Print and fax the credit card authorization form with a copy of your Group Visit Request form to 202-334-1548.
- Print and mail the credit card authorization form with a copy of your Group Visit Request form to:

Please write the name of your group and the date and time of your approved reservation on the check. Checks are only accepted for advance group reservation payment. Please note that sending payment via mail or overnight delivery service delays your confirmation.
Payment must be received in full 14 days prior to your visit to maintain your reservation. A tentative hold will be placed on your desired date and time until payment is received. In the event that another group requests the same times and dates before you are able to make payment, you will be notified and asked to reconcile payment within two (2) business days to complete the confirmation process and lock the date for your group.
Refund and Cancellation Policy
Reservations require full payment in advance before they can be confirmed via email from the museum. Your reservation is not confirmed until you receive this notice.
Changes in Group Size
- 14 days or more prior to visit
- If the number of paid visitors in your group has decreased, you will be refunded the difference.
- If the final count is higher than confirmed, payment is required at this time and your reservation will be changed to guarantee admission.
- Within 14 days of your visit
- If your group arrives with fewer visitors than your final count, you are not eligible for a refund.
- If your group arrives with more visitors than your final count, and capacity permits, payment for the additional group members is required in full and they will gain admission. Additional group members will be charged at the general admission rate. Payment at this time can only be made by cash or credit card (Visa or MasterCard).
- Note: Given capacity limitations, we may not be able to accommodate an increase in group size without the minimum 14 days notice.
Group Cancellations
- 14 days or more prior to visit
- Group cancellations made 14 days or more prior to your reservation date will be refunded 100%.
- Within 14 days of your visit
- Group cancellations made within 14 days of your visit are not eligible for a refund.
