Marian Koshland Science Museum Awarded 2004 Galaxy Award
for Global Warming: Facts and our Future Exhibit

November 22, 2004 – The Marian Koshland Science Museum was recently awarded the 2004 Bronze Galaxy Award for its Global Warming: Facts and our Future exhibit. The exhibit was one of over 400 entries from 14 countries submitted to the 15 th Annual International Galaxy award competition. The exhibit ranked in the top third, winning the 2004 Bronze Galaxy Award for the best Museum Exhibit Design. The award honors Bowman Design Group for their creative efforts.

The Marian Koshland Science Museum features state-of- the-art exhibitions targeted to students and adults in the general public, bringing to life the numerous studies conducted by the National Academies every year. The mission of the Marian Koshland Science Museum is to make these studies more accessible to the public and to increase public understanding of the nature and value of science.

The Galaxy Awards competition is sponsored by Mercomm, Inc., founded in 1987 whose principal purpose is to advance the arts and sciences of communication in the international arena. It strives to establish and promote high standards of achievement by recognizing the multiple disciplines involved in communications.
